Richard Petty Driving Experience is the leading provider of motorsports
entertainment dedicated to providing you with the safest and most exciting
driving and riding programs in the world. Our 600 hp NASCAR style stock
cars are waiting for you! With 22 state-of-the-art facilities across the
United States, RPDE offers a variety of driving experiences
from 8 laps to 80 laps, with you driving solo behind the wheel. In addition,
our Ride-Along Program allows participants to ride with a professional
instructor for a three-lap NASCAR style Qualifying Run at speeds in

Safety is paramount to the RPDE staff and our guests. At more than 25 tracks
nationwide spanning more than 13 years, we have had more than our share
of success. Last year alone, our cars drove more than a million miles without
a single
injury! We are very proud of our safety record and strive continuously
to maintain it. We recognize that safety is the most important aspect of
our business.

Each of our cars is built from the ground up in Concord, NC, the home
of our first permanent facility. Each car is built to the highest standards,

Since 1989, thousands of stock car racing enthusiasts
have "graduated" from the FAST TRACK Driving Schools at some of NASCAR'S
most popular tracks. The FAST TRACK Driving School program provides an
opportunity for fans and up and coming racecar drivers to get behind the wheel
of a NEXTEL Cup style racecar.
What you will drive:
Our cars are NEXTEL Cup style stock cars - some of which
have competed on the racing circuit. The FAST TRACK fleet includes Chevys,
Fords and Pontiacs, and new in 2001 Dodge Intrepids. Our cars are designed for
the safety of our students; however, they are capable of reaching speeds from
70 mph to 160 mph, depending on track conditions, experience and your skill level.
Equipment:
FAST TRACK offers the best in safety equipment. Simpson
helmets, fire suits, and gloves are provided for our students during the school
and now in 2002, the HANS (Head And Neck Safety) device is also provided. Andy
Hillenburg, Owner of Fast Track and ARCA Champion, says "We feel like Fast
Track has been the leader in driving schools in many areas the past 10 years
and it was really time to step up and prove it once again." The HANS device will
be provided for the students use during all schools.
Dan Knisley, two-time student at Fast Track states, "The Fast Track School
has always focused on safety and is a program designed to show us what it is
really like out on the racetrack. To implement the Hans device too, was very
unexpected because of the cost factor, but I have learned to expect the best
with Fast Track and their staff. They always come through ahead of the
